It is based on cooperation between local farmers and conscious buyers, based on mutual trust and responsibility. The research will provide a theoretical overview of the types of community-supported agriculture, national and international models, good practices, as well as the main research trends and results of recent years. The empirical research will focus on the community-based food systems in the selected sample area, exploring the specificities of the supply and demand side, their role in rural development and analysing their potential for development. A multidisciplinary approach and the use of qualitative methods are important in the development of the topic.
