Description of the research topic:
3D printing is one of today's most dynamic areas. Particularly, the importance of plastic printing has increased in medical applications, since biocompatible materials can be used, from which devices can be inserted into the patient's body. Its application makes it possible to produce aids that can improve the effectiveness of individually designed and implemented radiotherapy treatments. Such applications may include printing individual applicators, targeting devices, which increase the target volume coverage with the prescribed dose during brachytherapy treatments.
