Description of the research topic:
Balance is the basic requirement for our everyday functions. The balance is determined among others by the static and dynamic characteristics of the foot as a base of support. The pathological changes in foot trajectory appear often in childhood and this problem is further deteriorated by the sedentary lifestyle which is established already during school. The aim of this research is to assess objectively the relationship between the parameters of the foot trajectory and postural control in children.
