Description of the research topic:
In the study of personality the dimensional variable-oriented approach has been dominant for several decades. This is well reflected in the applied statistical methods (ANOVA, ANCOVA, MANOVA, correlation-regression, factor analysis, etc.). However, in the latest decades, a higher emphasis is given to methods to reveal types and stable states of persons, typically in research related to developmental and personality psychology. The aim of the offered research is to apply and study several types of classification analyses (cluster analysis, configuration frequency analysis, dense-point analysis, etc.) and other person oriented methods and study methods of internal and external validations.
