Description of the research topic:
Correlations among vitamin D supply, circulating forms of parathormone and serum protein fractions in patients with renal failure
Studying the topic outlined in the title in pre-dialysis stage and already dialyzed end-stage renal disease patients. The main objective is to investigate which fraction of 25(OH)D and which fraction of PTH is relevant in patients with renal failure receiving substitution (native vitamin D, active vitamin D) and those who do not, in order to make the best therapeutic decision to prevent severe calcium and bone metabolism disorders (osteodystrophy, osteitis fibrosa).
