Description of the research topic:
The successful candidate will characterise already established zebrafish models of monogenic diseases resulting from pseudouridylation defects (mainly Dyskeratosis Congenita). The work will combine state-of-the-art genome editing and sequencing methods with transgenic reporter systems and high-throughput behavioural assays.
Required language skills: English Further requirements: Familiarity with standard molecular experimental systems (molecular cloning, immunostaining, etc.). Previous work experience with zebrafish, knowledge of bioinformatic pipelines used for analysis of next-generation sequencing data, basic Python and R
