Secret sharing is method for hiding secret information by splitting and sharing portions of the secret, such that only some predefined coalitions are able to recover the secret. The efficiency of such system can be measured by the amount of information the users have to store. The determination or at least the estimation of the efficiency for a given secret sharing scheme is one of the most interesting problem of this topic.
The task is the design and implementation of new estimation methods and of cryptographically secure communication protocols using secret sharing.
